Future Edge Research is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing sustainable solutions that strengthen the social, environmental, and economic well-being of communities across the Rio Grande Valley.
We focus on clean water, renewable energy, and food security initiatives that empower local residents and institutions to build a resilient and thriving region for generations to come.
Our History
Future Edge Research was established as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in August 2023 with a mission to advance sustainable and resilient community development through research, innovation, and collaboration. Founded by a team of engineers and community leaders in the Rio Grande Valley, FER was created to bridge the gap between technology, research, and local impact.
